R. L. Turner Theater Presents a Special One Time Performance of WIT

The R. L Turner Theater Arts Department will be presenting a ONE TIME ONLY public performance of the UIL One Act Play, WIT, on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m. The production will be a tribute to our current faculty member, Shannon Underwood, as she currently battles cancer. This is a donation only performance. All proceeds will go towards Shannon Underwood’s medical bills.

Exquisitely written, affecting, and often humorous, WIT follows a brilliant and exacting poetry professor as she undergoes experimental treatment for cancer. A scholar who devoted her life to academia, she must now face the irony and injustice of becoming the subject of research.
