Newman Smith's Nick Hampton won the 9-4A District Golf Title. Junior Newman Smith golfer Eji Kwon placed first at the 9-4A District Golf Tournament as well. Congratulations!
At the District 9-4A golf tournament which concluded yesterday, C-FB had two girls qualify for regional competition as medalists. Eji Kwon of Newman Smith took first place medalist honors with a two day total of 149 (72/77). Paige Nelson of Creekview was the third place finisher and will represent 9-4A as their second individual medalist at the Region II-4A tournament to be held next Wednesday and Thursday, April 18 and 19, at Mansfield National Golf Course in Mansfield.
