Creekview High School's Production of "The Wizard of Oz" Received Four Nominations from Dallas Summer Musicals High School Musical Theatre Awards

Creekview High School's production of "The Wizard of Oz" received four nominations from Dallas Summer Musicals High School Musical Theatre Awards (DSM HSMTA).
Dallas Summer Musicals HSMTA is a program designed after Broadway's Tony Awards that recognizes high achievement in musical theatre at the high school level. Over 30 prominent high schools from the Dallas area entered this competition. You can read the article that lists all nominations here.

Creekview's production of "The Wizard of Oz" received nominations in the following categories:

• Best Direction 
• Best Musical Direction 
• Best Choreography 
• Best Ensemble 

The DSM HSMTA ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Music Hall at Far Park. Please congratulate all student members of the cast and crew of "The Wizard of Oz" for their success and recognition.
