Turner Drama Department Helps Re-Enact Farmers Branch History

Tours of Keenan Cemetery, complete with costumed reenactors bringing Farmers Branch history to life, return March 23-24 & 30-31 at the historic cemetery on Valley View, near City Hall in Farmers Branch.

Guided tours begin at 6:30 p.m. each evening and run in 15 minute intervals through 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person with children under six admitted free. Tickets can be purchased beginning March 1 at the Farmers Branch Historical Park or by calling 972.406.0184.

The annual event is presented by the Farmers Branch Parks and Recreation Department in association with the Drama Department at R.L. Turner High School and as a added bonus the Olde Tyme Carriage Company will provide a static exhibit of their 19th century horse-drawn hearse on Saturdays, March 24 and 31.

The Farmers Branch Keenan Cemetery is located at 2570 Valley View Lane, bordered by Gussie Field Watterworth Park and the National EarthKind Rose Trial Garden.
