ECHS Student Chosen for State PTA Scholarship

Early College High School (ECHS) student, Alexandria Fisher, has been chosen to receive a state PTA scholarhship. Fisher will be graduating from ECHS in May.

The Early College High School, located on the Brookhaven College campus, is an educational choice for incoming ninth grade students who are accepted into the program through an application process during the fall of their eighth year. The program blends high school and college in a rigorous, yet supportive program, compressing the time it takes to complete a high school diploma and the first two years of college. ECHS is currently joined by a memorandum of understanding with Brookhaven College which has committed time and resources to helping our students become academically successful, earn college credit tuition free, and successfully transition to an institution of high education.

Benefits to Students:
Opportunity to earn 60+ college credits on 100% scholarship for books and tuition
Experience a small school setting within a college campus
Safe and supportive environment
Rigorous academic program for all students
