Stark Grows "Starkie," the Giant Zucchini

The Janie Stark Garden was dedicated on Apr. 22, 2011 and was built by the Stark PTA and Dad's Club. The garden is maintained by P.E. instructor, Coach M. Coach M. tended the garden up to 4 days a week during the summer to water and prune each bed.  Students and staff celebrated when Coach M. discovered one of their plants had produced an 18-inch-long, 7 pound zucchini - affectionately known as "Starkie."
