RLT Raises Funds for Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts
Students at R. L. Turner High School concluded their 2 week fundraiser,
collecting pennies and cash to give to the American Red Cross for
victims of Hurricane Sandy. The colleges within RLT competed to see who
would donate the most in pennies toward the effort. METSA raised the
most, $161.62 in pennies, with ILEAD raising $2.70, CHAMP collecting
$67.60, and ACES collecting $33.36. The total from all efforts across
RLT resulted in a total of $600 for the victims of Sandy.
