On Jan. 26, the Creekview High School Academic Decathlon team competed in the Region IX competition. The Mustangs placed 5th in what is considered to be the most competitive region in the state. Only the top 25 teams in the state of Texas are invited to the state tournament. CHS will attend as #14. Nine students competing in ten academic disciplines, earning 38 medals. Mustangs Brandon Vokey, Jacob Crocker, and Josh Henson placed 4th, 3rd, and 2nd in the all-region Varsity division.
