BBMS Band Members Make Region 5 All-Region

Twenty-seven members of the Barbara Bush Middle School Band participated in the Region 5 ATSSB All-Region Middle School auditions. Over 400 students from twenty-three schools met at Anna High School to compete for placement in the two Middle School All-Region Bands.  BBMS had ten members make the All-Region Concert Band and ten members make the All-Region Symphonic Band. Three of the Band members were named first chair in their sections. Those members were:  Jenae Georgia on Bassoon, Simon Kharel on Horn and Salvador Tiscareno on Euphonium.  All twenty students will meet in January to prepare music for a concert.
