RHS Chapter of Becca’s Closet Provides Formal Wear to Needy Teens

After collecting over 300 articles of formal clothing, the Ranchview High School chapter of Becca’s Closet opened up for the prom season throughout March and April. On Mar. 31, Apr. 21, and Apr. 28, the chapter gave out close to 50 articles of formal wear to students throughout Dallas. The dresses and suits were all given out for free to the students to help make their proms more affordable. The RHS chapter has been collecting donations since March 2011 under founder Hena Rafiq and sponsor Elizabeth Mahaffey. Students looking to get free formal wear for future formal dances, or students wanting to donate old dresses and suits can visit www.beccascloset.org for more information.
