C-FB ISD is very pleased to announce that three of high school boys’ basketball teams have made the play-offs this year. All will compete in the bi-district round of the UIL state play-offs beginning next week.
Creekview will be the 2nd place representative from District 9-4A. They will take on the 3rd place representative from District 10-4A, McKinney North, at Plano East Senior High School, 3000 Los Rios, Plano, at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21. Creekview will be the home team for this game.
Newman Smith won an exciting game last night to clinch the 4th place slot from District 9-4A. They will play Highland Park, the District Champion from 10-4A, at Prosper High School, 301 Eagle Drive, Prosper, at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21.
Ranchview finished 12-3A play in third place. Their play-off opponent has not yet been decided as Princeton, Lovejoy, and Frisco Lone Star finished 11-3A play in a three way tie for first place. They will have a seeding tournament on Thursday and Friday nights this week, and Ranchview’s play-off information will not be available until their opponent is known. But they will play either February 20 or February 21, and we will provide you with all of their information once it has been determined.
