Thank You to the Texas Scholars Volunteers

The Texas Scholars program in C-FB ISD allows the business community to interact through presentations with eighth grade students.  The presentations help the middle school students see the importance of making right choices and taking rigorous courses in order to prepare for college.  Students also are able to learn about different professions from the business community. This year, 32 volunteers with varying careers made 71 presentations at six C-FB ISD middle schools.  We are grateful to the 32 volunteers from the business community for their support of C-FB ISD and for their investment into the lives of our eighth graders.
