Over the weekend the Creekview Speech Team competed at the "Hub City Classic" Speech and Debate Tournament in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Creekview placed second overall out of the 37 schools in attendance, only placing lower than James Logan High School, the top ranking school in the entire nation. Kevin King received the Michael Marks Award for scoring the most sweepstakes points by an individual student.

Natalie Walker- Declamation, 4th
Kevin Kehl- Humorous Interp, 3rd
Kevin King & Michael Ferguson- Duo Interp, 2nd
Michael Ferguson- Storytelling, 1st
Kevin King- Dramatic Interp, 1st
Kevin King- Original Oratory, 1st
