Friday afternoon, Creekview played against Humble Atascocita and despite a hard fought battle with several opportunities to score, the game ended in a 0-0 tie. Friday evening the Mustangs went into their game against Lake Dallas knowing they needed to win to get a guaranteed spot in the championship game. Halfway through the second half, Jordan Gillespie was able to chase down a ball that was going out of bounce and crossed it into the box. Katie Zimmerman was able to beat the goalkeeper to the ball and gave the Mustangs the 1-0 win.

Saturday morning, Creekview faced North Mesquite in the championship game of the tournament. The Mustangs had a few opportunities to score but were unable to find the back of the net. Alyssa Palacios had several huge saves late in the game to keep it 0-0 at the end of regulation.
