Now through Oct. 14, C-FB ISD students, teachers and their families can register for an R. L. Turner High School-sponsored trip to Italy for Spring Break 2014.
The trip will include tours of the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel in Rome. Participants will be able to walk up the Spanish Steps, or throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain. After three nights in Rome, participants will visit lovely towns in Tuscany for two nights, and then finish the tour of Italy with two nights in Venice. Teachers and their relatives are welcome on this school sponsored Turner trip. There are a few classes at Turner to prepare participants for travel abroad. Price of $3279 includes airfare, hotels with triple rooms, breakfasts, dinners, private bus, guides, and admission to all planned activities. Sign up with a $495 deposit and application before October 14, 2013. The trip must be paid in full by January 2, 2014.
Any C-FB student 9th grade and below can travel with an accompanying parent. Students in grades 10 and up can travel without a parent, provided they also attend the the classes.
