On Dec. 3, Ranchview High School Band had 22 members make chairs in the
All-Region Bands. Three additional players were selected as alternates.
Additionally, there were 7 overall RHS first chairs in the bands, which
is more than any other school competing. Twelve band members advance
on to compete at the Area Band auditions in January for a chance to move
on to perform with one of the All-State Bands in San Antonio the
following month.
