AVID Students Visit UNT

On Nov. 28, AVID students from Polk, Perry, Long and Blalack Middle Schools visited the University of North Texas. Students toured the main campus and the new Apogee Stadium. Guest Speaker, Rick Villarreal, who is the Athletic Director at UNT, spoke about the stadium as well as the importance of athletes putting education first.
