On Tuesday, December 4, 2012 the men’s basketball teams of
Newman Smith and R. L. Turner High Schools took the court to raise awareness for
Kacie’s Run, benefiting C-FB ISD Special Olympics. The C-FB ISD
All Stars Special Olympics team, joined the two teams in pre-game
recognition and warm ups. The players and spectators "passed the buckets" and made donations in support of the All Stars.
