Smith Track and Field Set Records at McKinney Relays

At the McKinney ISD Relays, the following students placed:

• Courtney Okolo won 400m & 200m, setting the school record in the 200m by almost 1.5 seconds. 
• Boys 4x4 placed 2nd with Eric Williams breaking 50 seconds for the first time. 
• Boys Distance Medley Relay – first time to run a Distance Medley and placed 2nd. Time should qualify for Texas Relays. 
• Shawn Holmes jumped 21’ 1.5” in his first attempt in Long Jump of the season. 
• Jaquis Jones placed 2nd in discus and 6th in shotput. Both were personal records. 
• Paul Ogunfunwa won JV shotput, throw was a personal record. 
• Jeff Moore placed 2nd in 800m 
• Derrick Johnson placed 5th in 100m with 10.95.
