Barbara Bush Broncos Take First Place in Edible Car Contest

On Friday, March 2, students from Barbara Bush Middle School participated in the Edible Car Contest at Texas Woman’s University in Denton. Two Bronco teams came away with a victory. Rachel Parker, Sarah Parker, Kelsey Nguyen, and Alina Paik placed third while Ava Castillo, Maximilian Matsushita, Jung Choi, and Hannah Han took the prestigious first place title. In this competition, students work in groups to create cars that are 100% edible. Watch their appearance on Fox 4.
