Congratulations to Murugappan (Murray) Ramanathan, M.D., for recently being appointed Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital (Sinus Center). The Johns Hopkins Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery Center is ranked as the #1 medical facility in the world by U.S. News & World Report.
Murray graduated from Newman Smith in 1995. He was ranked 28 out of a class of 607 students.
At Newman Smith Murray enrolled in advanced sciences and was involved in science fair competitions sponsored by Karl Jones.
Murray received his undergraduate training at Yale, Medical School at UT Medical Branch Galveston and completed his residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Additionally, Murray completed a fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Rhinology & Sinus Surgery. Dr. Ramanathan has a Board Certifications from the American Board of Otolaryngology.
