The Freeman Elementary Student Council, in partnership with the Ranchview High School Student Council, participated in a Peanut Butter and Jelly drive for the Irving homeless.
Freeman collected 183 jars of peanut butter, 139 jars of jelly, 84 loaves of bread, and 51 boxes of sandwich bags. Both groups of student council members made 2,790 PB&J sandwiches for the Irving community.
Congratulations to the students at Freeman and Ranchview for collecting the necessary ingredients and making sandwiches. We are proud of your community involvement - You are truly making a difference in our neighborhoods.
