RLT Student’s Essay Wins Award Through University of Houston Program

R. L. Turner junior Christy Purnadi was named as a winner in the Gülen Institute Student Platform essay competition, sponsored by the University of Houston. Over 500 essays from 40 countries were submitted to the competition. Purnadi is in the BioMed and AMAT academies at RLT. She will be traveling to Washington, D.C. on Apr. 8-12 to receive her award and to meet  U.S. Congressmen and visit historic sites in the area.
