Creekview Student Spends Summer Tracking Asteroids

Creekview High School student, Matthew Estrada-Millican spent 39 days this summer performing astrophysics research in New Mexico.  While in New Mexico he operated a telescope to take images of a near-earth asteroid, and wrote his own computer software to measure its position precisely and calculate its orbit around the sun.  He joined 35 other top science students from around the U. S. and the world at the Summer Science Program on the campus of New Mexico Institute of Technology.

Estrada-Millican is a C-FB ISD Superstar achieving a perfect score on the SAT.
