Texas School Board Recognition Month: Governor of Texas Rick Perry designated January as School Board Recognition Month. This month gives us an opportunity to thank our School Board members for devoting their time and energy to public education. The Carrollton-Farmers Branch School Board makes decisions based on our district’s goal of high achievement for all students, and what they believe is right for students. They are committed to the success of all students in our district. The Administration Building has been decorated with artwork and displays from many of our schools. This is just one way that our students show how much they appreciate the work of these seven elected officials.
