The Creekview Speech team competed at the Grand Prairie High School Spotlight Speech and Debate Tournament. Out of 33 schools competing at the tournament, Creekview placed first.
Senior Kevin King was named "Top Competitor" at the tournament out of the over 380 students competing.

3rd Place Poetry: Maddie Wright
2nd Place Duo: Kevin Kehl, Patrick Lyons
2nd Place Humorous Interp: Michael Ferguson
2nd Place Dramatic Interp: Kevin King
