Still Time To Register To Vote For May Elections

The Texas Secretary of State Hope Andrade is reminding Texans that the deadline to register to vote in the May elections is Thurs., April 14.   In a news release, Ms. Andrade said, "Registering is easy.  The application has only nine questions, and one of them is your name."

There aren't any statewide issues on the May 14 ballot, but many cities, school districts and other local entities are holding elections to determine local leaders and vote on local issues. C-FB ISD will have a school board election on that Saturday.  For information about that election, click here: Election Information

You will find voter registration applications in your county election offices.  Secretary of State Andrade also says that some post offices and libraries also have the applications.  However, the application can be found on the state's voter information website. State Voter Registration Website

Are you already registered?
To confirm your voter registration status, you may select one of three methods to perform a search:

• Your Texas driver's license number, if you provided it when you applied for voter registration;

• Your Voter Unique Identifier (VUID), which appears on your voter registration certificate;

• Your first and last name.

Use this link to determine if you are registered to vote:
