Two Soccer District Champion Teams; Three Play-off Teams

We have two soccer teams that are 2011 district champions -- one in boys’ soccer and one in girls’ soccer for District 20-AAAA soccer. We have three soccer teams in the first of the UIL state play-offs. Games are Thurs., March 25 and Fri., March 25.

R. L. Turner Lions are the boys’ district champions. The Lions will play Paris North Lamar from District 19-4A in the bi-district round of the UIL state soccer play-offs on Thurs., March 24, at 7:00 p.m. at Standridge Stadium. R. L. Turner will be the home team. Ticket prices will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Passes accepted include the District 9-4A pass and the District 15-3A pass along with THSCA/TGCA passes. Faculty passes/employee activity cards will not be accepted for admission.



Creekview Lady Mustangs are the district girls’ champions. Creekview will play Sulphur Springs from District 19-4A in the bi-district round of the UIL state soccer play-offs on Fri., March 25, at 6:00 p.m. at Princeton High School.

The Creekview boys' soccer team also made the play-offs, finishing third in district play. The Mustangs will take on Paris at 8:00 p.m. on Fri., March 25, at Princeton High School, following the Lady Mustangs game. Ticket prices will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Passes accepted include the District 9-4A pass, the District 15-3A pass, and the District 13-4A pass, along with THSCA/TGCA passes. Faculty passes/employee activity cards will not be accepted for admission. Creekview will be the home team for both games.
