RLT Marching Band Finishes Top Three

The Lion Marching Band competed in the Golden Triangle Classic in Denton, TX, on Saturday, October 5. The band placed 3rd in their division.

Princesses and Princes on the 2013 Creekview High School Homecoming Court was crowned at Standridge Stadium on Oct. 4th at the homecoming game between Creekview Mustangs vs Newman Smith Trojans.

PTA Book Fair Chairman Stacy Sullivan dressed up like an Egyptian to go along with the theme – A Cool Place to Discover Hot Books! The Riverchase Elementary book fair runs the week of October 8-11.

Furneaux Students Rewarded for Leadership

Furneaux Elementary School Counselor, Christina Court, had the privilege of escorting some exceptional students to the Creekview Homecoming game. These students earned this special trip by demonstrating leadership skills, respectful behavior and positive attitudes all week.

NSHS Trojan Band Takes 3rd at Midlothian Marching Showcase

On Oct. 5, The Newman Smith Trojan Band competed at the Midlothian Marching Showcase in Midlothian, TX. They received 3rd place in their division and 4th place overall out of 22 bands.

NSHS Golfer Remembered with Tournament

On September 18, golfers gathered to honor NSHS graduate, Michael Ebanks at the MICHAEL EBANKS MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT. Michael was one of 12 Aggies that died in the bonfire collapse at Texas A&M in 1999. His classmates, friends and family gather each year to remember him at the memorial golf tournament in his name. Many schools from the area participated in the annual event at Indian Creek Golf Course.
