The R. L. Turner Lions Powerlifting Team competed at the Keller Timber Creek High School Powerlifting Meet. Here are the results:

Girls':

• Vanessa De La Rosa (114 Wt. Class) - Placed 2nd with a total of 460lbs 
• Becky Rosales (165 Wt. Class) - Placed 3rd with a total of 430lbs

Boys':

• David Portillo (181 Wt. Class) - Placed 2nd with a total of 990lbs
• Chris Zapata (148 Wt. Class) - Finished with a total of 700lbs
• Eric Rosales (165 Wt. Class) - Finished with a total of 750lbs
• Fernando Perez (220 Wt. Class) - Finished with a total of 940lbs
