Newman Smith Band Members Selected for Texas All-State Band

The following members of the Newman Smith High School (NSHS) band have been selected to participate in prestigious Texas All State Band:

• Diego Ramirez. 5A Tuba
• Davin Hadley, 4A Bass Trombone

Also, congratulations to Lonzell Arrington, baritone, Josh Boyer, bassoon, and Nelson Acosta, tuba. These students finished 2nd at the State Band auditions.
