NSHS French Students Place Well at Regional Competition

Five Newman Smith High School French students scored wins at the Regional Fete competition recently in Plano.

NSHS winners were: 

Liliana Alarcon - 1^st Overall, Level 4

David Oostenbrug - 1^st Overall, Level 3

Vicki Contreras - 3^rd Place, Level 2

Tannah Oppliger and Benjamin Peillard were tied for 2^nd place, Level 1.

Schools from the North Texas region participated in the annual French Language competition,

The NSHS team is coached by French teachers David Hardy and Nathalie Sporcic.
