R. L. Turner High School seniors in the Academy of Media Arts and
Technology (AMAT) visited the studios of GeekBeat TV to tour their
facilities and watch a live taping of their show. Geek Beat is an online
news program, delivering a daily news show and a weekly live
show. During their visit, students were able to interact with industry
professionals in video production, web design, social media and
advertising. AMAT will be partnering with GeekBeat TV, providing
students an opportunity to intern with the company in a wide range of
roles. AMAT students will also be anchors during GeekBeat TV news.
