On Monday, Sep. 12, students, parents & staff at Freeman Elementary commemorated the events of Sept. 11, 2001 by making 3,051 U.S. Flags. Each flag represents a child who lost a parent on that day.
The flags were placed on the hill behind the school in the outline of the World Trade Center towers.
